Here’s just a few of the summer camps and activities your children can enjoy.
The Starcamp summer camp in Greystones provides the stars of tomorrow with the chance to get together and practice their performance skills in a fun and friendly setting. Taking place at St Patrick’s Centre & Hall from July 2-6 and July 23-27, these week-long camps aim to instil confidence and self-esteem in all boys and girls through praise and recognition in a non-competitive environment.
Boys and girls aged 4 to 12 of all levels can take part in creative performances, with advanced programmes for Starcamp Superstars aged 9 to 12, offering endless opportunities in the performing arena, with the emphasis squarely on building confidence and self-assurance to support conscientious and caring children.
For younger children (4 to 5 and 6 to 8), the programme includes singing Disney classics, dancing to chart favourites, acting scenes from popular films, fun team games, arts and crafts, a song and dance showcase and fun interactive games.
Children aged 9 to 12 can enjoy an introduction to pop singing, hip-hop dance and choreography, acting, script writing and directing, improv, audition technique and fun life skills improvement, and can also show off their talents at the week-ending showcase.
Running since 2007, Starcamps have a proven track record and outstanding reputation amongst performing professionals, principals, teachers, parents, and most importantly of all, the children who take part.
It’s a great way to inspire confidence in your children, and help your budding young star make new friends in a fun setting.
